Top 10 Book Covers That Scream ‘Hello Spring’

Hey bookworm friends! I’m very much looking forward to warmer days so I like this week’s TTTopic. However, that doesn’t mean I had an easy time finding Springy book covers! In fact it was quite difficult as I think I tend to read genres with either stark and dark covers or bright and bold colours. But I’m looking for airy and breezy covers with soft colours that bring joy and warmth to mind. After lots of searching I did manage to find some so here are my top 10 book covers that scream ‘hello spring‘!

Thank you and I agree that pinks and greens are a great combo! 🩷💚

  1. Oh my my, that cover for Persuasion?! A stunner 😍 I mean, all of these pastel covers are absolutely beautiful and make me want to add them all to my physical shelves (especially that edition of Persuasion)! 😂 Great picks!

    • Veronica

I love that cover too and that edition is my fav, when I saw a copy of it at the used book store, I died a bit inside haha 😍Thanks, Dini and I’d love to add these to my physical shelves too 😂!

Aw, I’m glad you like it, I only wish I knew the artist but I found it on Rawpixel and they didn’t list the artist :S. Thanks for popping by 😉

    • Veronica

I do really enjoy it, simple but effective and oh so cute! I remember liking this book when I was a kid! Thanks for popping by 😀

  2. That’s a pretty edition of Emma! I have been recommended The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels by multiple people. It sounds delightful.

    • Veronica

I thought so too! 🙂 Oh wow yes, I keep hearing good things about that one as well!

  3. These are some beautiful covers and I think you absolutely nailed the vibes you were going for. I’ve never seen that version of Persuasion but it’s stunning 😍 I really love that version of Emma too with the pastel background and fruit/flowers surrounding the letters. I love the Wisteria Society cover too as well as the Grand Curiosities one. Between the cover & title that’s one I definitely need to look up.

I haven’t read any of these but really want to try The Philippa Gregory series sometime as well as something by Kate Morton and I Capture The Castle given how loved it is. I also have the Jennieke Cohen book on my TBR but plan to try her debut book first.

I hope you enjoy the ones of these still on your TBR and that the warmer weather reaches you soon 🥰

Thank you I’m glad you think I got the vibe right hehe! 🙂 That version of Persuasion is my absolute fav! The painted editions are so pretty I wish they did more books with it. Yes the Emma edition is also so pretty, tbh the Austen books have so many gorgeous editions lol. I’m glad there are a few here that look interesting to you and I recently heard of Grand Curiosities and thought it sounded cute.

That Philippa Gregory has been the one that got away from me for too many years and I still need to rectify that 😂 Yes I feel like both Kate Morton and I Capture the Castle are so loved and apparently I had Jannieke Cohen’s debut on my tbr but had forgotten about it thanks for reminding me lol.

Thank you on both counts!! 🥰

      • Ita stunning. Do they do other Austen books like it? I want to know what beach it is too as it looks familiar 😂 classics do get some majorly stunning editions. It’s hard not to crave them, yet I’m always unsure if I’ll enjoy the stories or not. I hope you enjoy it whenever you get to it 🥰

Well you’re not alone as I have numerous books by her on my TBR yet have read none 🙈 I’ve seen the adaptations though 😂 hopefully we’ll both try her books soon . Yes very true, they are well loved and lol u have plenty of books like that I go to add them and think ‘oops it’s already there 🙈’

        • Veronica

No, alas it’s the only Austen edition, it’s just a very select few classics and I don’t know how they pick them but there’s only 12 at the moment. I wonder if it’s the beach from the adaptation 🤔. The nice thing about classics is that you can read them from the library and get your fav edition if you loved it.
          Thank you 🙂

Ah, excellent good to know it’s not just me lol. Yes hopefully!
Ahaha happens more than I would like 😂!

  4. Such great covers 😍
I’m not sure I’ve ever really thought about spring-y books before … Summer, yes. Fall, also yes. Winter/Christmas, definitely. Spring? Somehow no … Maybe it feels like a transition time, when I’m not quite to full-on summer/beach reads, but we’re getting there. More action, more romance, less cozy?

    • Veronica

      Thank you!! 😀
Yeah I know what you mean, It’s not a time of year I tend to read seasonally so that’s also kind of why it was a fun challenge. Yeah Spring to me still feels like trying to get ready for the new year even though it’s already fully happening! lol. That logic makes sense to me 🙂

    • Veronica

Yeah that’s so true and it’s probably the book i read the longest ago which also accounts for the wildly different tone lol.

  5. Daria

I almost included that I Capture the Castle cover on my list. I love that book.

    • Veronica

Oh haha, that was a close one! I have been dying to read it for years I know so many people love it and it sounds delightful!

    • Veronica

Thanks 🙂 & That’s fair, this was my first Morton so I have nothing else to compare it too though I had fun time reading it!

    • Veronica

Thank you 😀 I loved that bunny illustration too and glad to make your tbr even bigger 😜!

    • Veronica

I remember really liking it as a kid as well as the movie! & Thank you! 🖤
