Top 10 Books with ‘Summer’ in the Title

Hey bookworm friends! Today’s ‘Beachy Reads‘ TTTopic is really making me miss the beach, especially with this blazing sun we have today! The last time I went to a beach by an ocean was a few years ago and while we have lake beaches near me, I never go anymore. They’re always far too busy and not at all conducive to reading 😜. I also can’t think of any books I’ve read that I’d necessarily call ‘beachy’. So before I think myself into a circle, I’m changing the theme up and focusing on the word ‘Summer’ instead. Here are the Top 10 Books with ‘Summer’ in the Title, that are on my TBR!

Ah amazing, I hope that if you do check it out it’s one you love. It is a bit outside of my comfort zone but I keep hearing such good things about it and I love graphic novels, I find them easier to take chances with! Thank you 🙂.

Ahh well I hope its turn comes soon hehe 😛 & that you love it! I think I will probably read her Moomin books first 🤔

Thank you, Lisa! 🖤 Oh awesome, and how did you like it? I know that Guenevere book is really calling my name even though I don’t own it haha.

    • Veronica

Ahaha I’m glad it gave you a laugh! I can’t resist a silly pup 🖤!

Same for me, I bought the first Chase book right after I finished the PJ books but then seemed to move on from his books in my mind lol. I’m glad you love the tanning dog too hehe 🖤 Thank you 😀

  1. Summer is a god choice. Summerhaven has a cover that draws me in.

Thank you, Carla 🙂 I’m glad Summerhaven looks good to you too, one of my friends really loved it so that’s how it captured my attention.

    • Veronica

I’m so glad 🙂 It certainly seems fun!

  2. I haven’t heard of any of the titles here, but I’ve been curious about Guy Gavriel Kay. This looks like a nice variety of genres!

    • Veronica

Thanks, Haze 🙂 I am so curious about Guy Gavriel Kay too!

  3. I’m sorry you haven’t gotten to go to a beach in a long time. I hope you get to visit one again soon. I love having dog walks on them when they’re not too busy. It’s very relaxing to walk on the beach and she loves jumping by the sea (yet she won’t get in, besides one specific beach that is generally wave free 😂).

Omg I love that gif 😂😂

As for the books I haven’t read any of them 🙈 I’ll have to look a few of them up actually. Especially No Season But The Summer as that looks like my kind of read. The Narrowboat Summer has a very pretty cover too. Kind of makes me think of those painted classics. And I can’t believe that I haven’t tried any Rick Riordan yet 🙈 I hope you enjoy all of these whenever you get to them.

As someone who loves Greek mythology I tend to associate them with summer due to the settings climate 😂 and romances, although I need to start picking those up.

Aw that’s sweet of you but it’s okay since I don’t live in an area with ocean beaches. I hope so too, nothing feels quite like vacation like going to a beach haha. Aw dog walks on them sounds lovely and I’m glad your pup loves it too :D!! Cuteee 🐶
haha I had a suspicion you would like the GIF lol.
AH yes No Season But The Summer looks up your alley for sure. I agree, I love that style of painterly cover!
      Thanks so much 🙂
ohh I’ve never heard anyone associating mythology books with summer but that makes perfect sense. 😀

      • I guess that makes them even more special when you do get to visit them at least. It does seem to be the typical vibe you think of when a holidays mentioned 😂 yes she adores it, she actually starts sniffing the sea air through the window when she gets close 😅

        Oh lol

I like to be unique I guess 😂 and I love having an extra excuse to pick them up.

Thank you, I’m glad you liked the list and I can’t believe I haven’t read it yet since it’s partly set in my city lol.

  4. I just read The Summer I Ate the Rich which would fit in perfectly here (maybe not theme-wise). I haven’t read any of these which seems like a huge shame.

    • Veronica

Oh interesting I had not heard of that before but what an excellent title!! Some people do love thriller/horror for summer so it is kind of fitting :p It sound great! & these are all on my tbr so seems like a shame for me too haha
