Book Blogger Community Links: May & June 2026

Hey bookworm friends! It’s time again for me to share my favourite blog posts that I read in the last two months! I always wish I could do more blog hopping but I always enjoy my time seeing what others are writing and reading. I hope you give these amazing bloggers some more blog love 🖤. Who knows, maybe you’ll even find something you like! Strangely, I also have a lot of posts about TV shows, movies, and games on my list this time! I’ve also got a few non-blogging links for your perusal, in case you find them interesting.

These links are from outside the blogosphere & I thought were worthy of sharing with you all 🖤.

  • For fans of self-published fantasy: The author Rob J. Hayes shares monthly self-published fantasy releases lists on his website. Here are the ones for May and June. Yes, it’s technically blogging-related but it’s also his author website so I’m leaving it here.
  • For those who like history and mythology: With a title like Papyrus Fragment of Homer’s Iliad Found in 1600–Year-old Mummy is First Time Literature is Discovered in a Burial how could I not be intrigued? Good News Network‘s article really caught my attention.
  • For those who are sick of Gen AI: I spent some time on a train playing around with the website Your AI Slop Bores Me where people replace AI by answering questions. Do you want to ask a question to someone or do you want to ‘Larp as AI’ and answer some?
  • For Knitters who like Heavy Metal: I’ve been informed a competition Heavy Metal Knitting World Championships is a thing that happened. It might not be happening currently but the general idea brings me so much joy. The world is a whimsical place.
