Hey bookworm friends! Today’s a very rainy day and the icy sidewalks are melting (Yess!) Mentally and emotionally, I’m over Winter, so let’s distract ourselves with thoughts of shiny new books. Even though Spring technically begins on the 20th of March in the northern hemisphere, I’m including new releases from March to May in this list. Without further ado, here are the Spring 2025 new releases that are on my radar!

That’s super fair, there are some books like that for me too where I wait to see what the general consensus is 😛 I loved her first duology so I hope to pick it up sooner rather than later.
Spring has so many good sounding books coming out. I’m very curious about Space Brooms and Starving Saints!

I majorly cannot wait for The Moth & The Knight. It sounds incredible 😍😍 I’m pretty curious about The Starving Saints too and Murder By Memory. I’d love to read the book about Helen but need to check out the Clytemnestra’s one first. I definitely plan to though.
A couple of the others have caught my eye, the space type ones leaving me curious to hear more about them. I’m especially intrigued by A Song Of Legends Lost though. It sounds fantastic 😍

Me too, and I know I like the author’s writing so it bodes well! Yes you definitely need to read the Clytemnestra first even though you know the overall story already, but I feel like you need the small details of this specific retelling to fully appreciate every subtlety. Can’t wait for you to read it!

Thanks, I’m definitely better at making lists than at reading them all but I will definitely share my thoughts on any I get to 😀 I feel like I still haven’t even gotten to the books from my first anticipated list I ever made in 2022 🤫
I still need to try her debut duology but I’m very excited to get to it. I totally get that and tbh I hate reading series out of order anyway 😂 I’ll let you know when I get to it. I’m excited to check it out.

Oh gosh yeah that first list I mentioned was one of my first posts on IG. haha it would be fun to see but maybe also quite confronting who knows!
I’ve seen that said before with something (I can’t remember exactly what now) and was relieved I’d stuck to the original order as it would have spoilt some things if not. I guess that’s less of a danger with retellings but it still feels wrong not to pick up related books in order 😂

The Gods Time Forgot also looks amazing and I’m surprised that I haven’t seen it mentioned around the blogosphere until now cos it looks like it would be a popular title (I’m totally judging the book by its cover here, lol)! This is a great list! I haven’t heard of these books before, but Murder by Memory by Olivia Waite sounds intriguing. I’ll have to check it out! I hope you get to read and enjoy all of these! 😊
