Top 10 Summer 2025 New Releases On My Radar

Top 10 Summer 2025 New Releases On My Radar

Hey bookworm friends! I hope you’re keeping cool & staying hydrated. Today’s TTTopic is one of my all-time favourites to think about. Technically it’s supposed to be “most anticipated books releasing in the second half of the year” but I like making these lists seasonally, or quarterly so I’m focusing on the summer months. So, as promised yesterday in my Mid-Year Freak Out post, here are my top 10 summer 2025 new releases on my radar! I can’t wait to see which books you’ve added to your lists…and then adopt them as my babies too😂!

And it comes out close to my birthday so I’m considering it the author’s present to me 😂

    • Veronica

Oh I’m glad they both caught your eye, they sound so fun to me too! Thanks for stopping by 🖤

    • Veronica

Hi, Sammie. I’m glad Coffeeshop in an Alternate Universe also appeals to you and I hope you love it if you do pick it up 🙂 Thanks for popping by my blog 🖤

  1. Coffeeshop in an Alternate Universe looks so good! I haven’t seen many other people mention it, but I’ve been curious about it, too. And I want to read Automatic Noodle also!

    • Veronica

Yess I know, I thought it was Indie but it’s not so I’m mildly surprised I haven’t seen many people mention it either :o! & yay I am so impatient for Automatic Noodle!

  2. There are so many great books coming out soon. The one I’m most looking forward to on your list is Boudicca’s Daughter after loving Elodie Harper’s previous books.

    • Veronica

There really are, it feels overwhelming with how many I want to read…and yet I keep adding more 🙃 And fantastic, I have Elodie Harper’s other series but I’ve yet to pick it up!! Thanks for stopping by 🖤

  3. This topic is always one of my favourites too. I love making the lists and checking out everybody else’s too and seeing just how much my TBR grows 😂

You have some fantastic sounding options and I really hope you enjoy all of them. I’ve already read, and loved, The Bewitching. Have you read any of the authors books before? Hemlock & Silver, Silvercloak and Boudicca’s Daughter are three that I’m incredibly excited for as well. And I’ve just added The Last Vigiliant & The Elysium Heist to my TBR as they sound fantastic 😍

    • Veronica

Yes it’s such a fun time for sure! It takes me days to go through people’s posts because I want to try to be more thorough (not that I can visit everyone’s, it would take forever).
Thank you! And I am so happy to hear you loved The Bewitching! I loved seeing your list too and I was impressed to find a sci-fi on there, maybe this is your year😜!
Out of the authors here I’ve already read T. Kingfisher, Silvia Moreno-Garcia, and Annalee Newitz and everyone else is new to me. I don’t necessarily pick anticipated reads by authors I’ve already read it’s kind of impossible to keep track of all that, just if it sounds like the premise is good lol.
Yess that makes absolute sense, I could see you loving all three of those too! Amazing, I am so glad 🖤!

      • I get that as I really struggle with keeping up when I join in too. I think it’s the most popular meme out there.

I hope you end up loving it too. And I’m glad you approved of the sci fi inclusion. I was thinking that if the horror TBRs go well I may try to come up with a sci fi one at some point as I keep failing to get to that genre.

I meant Silvia Moreno-Garcia mostly , I was curious if you’d tried anything else besides Mexican Gothic. But that’s good to know. And I’m the same, I mostly go by premises. Although sometimes they first catch my eye because I’m familiar with the author.
Here’s hoping we both love them all 🥰

        • Veronica

I’m glad it’s not just me lol. Yes it definitely is the most popular one, at least that I’ve seen!
Thank you 🙂 Hehe oh omg I would be SO curious to see which type of sci-fi catches your attention! But one thing at a time, I suppose 😛 lol
Ah okay haha my bad but yeah I’ve only read 2 books by her and that’s fair. 🙂
          Yes, fingers crossed!

          • You’re definitely not alone lol and yes it certainly seems to be. So far I’ve pulled the few sci fi titles from my priority list into a separate sci fi section. I’ll have to hunt down more titles for a longer list though as it’s pretty small 😂

          • Veronica

Oh good, I’m glad to hear that hehe 🥰.
Exciting, I love that you have a separate tbr for this! 🙂 That’s alright you have to start somewhere! & If you try some from your list and like them then at least you know you can probably try more from those same authors so that’ll grow your list a bit!

          • Yes that’s very true, and I don’t really want to add anything for the sake of it. So I’ll do a bit of research to find a few particularly popular titles that I like the sound of. But I’d rather have a small list of must reads than a massive one of maybes.

  4. Silvercloak is on my TTT list as well and I totally forgot about Coffeeshop in an Alternate Universe but I do have that on my TBR radar and I’m keen to check it out. It sounds great 😊 I hope you enjoy all of these books whenever you get to them!

    • Veronica

That’s awesome, I keep seeing people mention Silvercloak so I’m excited! And I’m happy to remind you of Coffeeshop in an AU, then :D! Thank you so much 🥰

    • Veronica

Excellent, I hope you love those if you pick them up and thanks for stopping by my blog, Lisa! 🖤

    • Veronica

It really does and I’m glad you think so too 🙂 Thanks! & I always stretch out the TTT’s by visiting people’s blogs throughout the week, I find it too much for just one day 😜!

  5. Coffeeshop in an Alternate Universe is also on my list, because it looks so cute! I wonder if the author will ever release the last book in her Sidekick Squad series though 🤔 Nevertheless, I’m happy that she has a new book coming out!

    • Veronica

Ahh, interesting! I had not heard of anything else by this author but I agree Coffeeship in an AU sounds adorable! I hope the final book of that series gets published soon for you though 🖤 (the Goodreads page doesn’t seem to have a date on it yet :s)

  6. I have a lot of the books you mentioned on my radar, and I am really excited about them all! (Especially Hemlock & Silver and Automatic Noodle)
I am also quite excited about the Enchanted Greenhouse, and I have recently discovered that at the end of June, Paved With Good Intentions by Peter McLEan was published, and now I need this one too!
But, on the whole, this Summer is full of interesting titles that I am dying to read!!

    • Veronica

Oh yay I’m so glad you’re excited for all of these too! 😀
the Enchanted Greenhouse sounds amazing I still have to read the first book in that series! Ohh Hahah that title is PERFECT for you!! I’m gonna need to look it up. I am so glad we get lots of exciting reads this summer, I hope you enjoy them all 🖤

    • Veronica

Thanks so much, I hope you enjoy any that you may try 😀
