Hey bookworms, how’s your summer reading going so far? Are you starting to plan your fall reads yet? In this week’s TTT, we get to share our excitement for all our anticipated releases for the year’s second half. Honestly, I have the best time trolling through publisher websites, bookshop pre-order lists, and my library catalogue’s “what’s on order” to feed my TBR. As an activity, I find it relaxing and entertainingâ 10/10, would recommend. Will I end up reading them all? No. But does that matter? Not one bit. Collecting the âšpossibilitiesâš is what matters here. And with that, I present the Top 10 Upcoming Releases I’m Most Excited For!
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. Donât forget to check out her post and link up!

Let’s chat in the comments!
Did you participate in this week’s TTT? If so, feel free to share your link below. Do any of these books sound intriguing to you?
Deathless Shores sounds fun. Always loved the Peter Pan movie, and still rewatch Hook on ocassion these days. Will definitely be reading the Dinosaurs book! It’s interesting how our discovery of fossils coincided (roughly) with Darwin & Huxley’s observations about evolution arriving at the same time.
Yes it’s strange that I haven’t read Peter Pan yet considering how much I like the story in movies, I really should! Hook is fantastic but with Robin Williams in it how could it not be?!
Yes, the dinosaurs book sounds so interesting. I am fascinated by the Victorians and their scientific advancements and preoccupations. Their world is familiar yet so foreign to me at the same time. In a way I can relate to them because as a person who was born in the 90’s I experienced school and playing outside before the internet was so ubiquitous. I feel like people today (who are at least millennials and older) and Victorians have something specific in common and that is being on the precipice of a new era if that makes any sense. Only theirs was industrial and ours is digital. Well I’m going to stop rambling now. lol
This Will Be Fun looks like a fun read. đ
Yes and I am sure like the title suggests, it will be fun to read đ
The Palace of Eros sounds interesting.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
I agree, looking forward to check that one out đ
There are some really pretty covers here! I hope you enjoy all these.
Happy TTT!

Thank you, yes there are some really nice ones for sure đ
I hadn’t heard of How to Summon a Fairy Godmother before but it sounds fun. I’d also like to read This Will Be Fun.
Oh glad to put it on your radar then, it does sound like a fun time and I like fairytale retellings! đ
I live the little keyword descriptions you’ve added! I’ve found about 5 to stick on my TBR lol
Oh yay I’m glad you found them helpful & fingers crossed that we love them!
How to Summon a Fairy Godmother sounds like a lot of fun!! I hope you enjoy all of these! đ
yeah it really does, and thank you :D!
Some of these sound fun! Lots of good ones yet to release this year!
Yes, definitely looking forward to a bunch of great releases! đ
These look like great reads! I’m also particularly excited for This Will Be Fun â it just *sounds* fun! đ
Ahaha as the title suggests indeed đ!!
Ooh, These Deathless Shores sounds appealing. Looks like a fun list!
Thank you & yes I’m hoping to really love that one đ !
I don’t know anything about it, but The Spice Gate looks reallyi interesting!
Yeah the concept intrigued me! đ
I’m keen to get my hands on The Phoenix Keeper too! đ I’m a big fan of MacLean’s histroms so I’m excited to see how her writing translates in a different sub-genre. I hope you enjoy all of these whenever you get to them!
Oh I didn’t realize this author had written other things, I thought it was a debut! & thank you ! đ
I have quite a few of these on my tbr too and am going to check out the full blurbs for the rest in a minute. I love all things Greek and also have a major weakness for fairytale retellings. The West Palace sounds really intriguing. I’ll definitely have to check that out. And I’ve been meaning to start the Crowns of Nyaxia series for ages. I hope you end up loving all of these books. And like you I love looking at various book lists. I think that’s why my tbrs so massive đ
We have so many book interests in common! & Crowns of Nyaxia is really fun, I enjoyed both books I’ve read so far a lot but I liked the first one more. I saw the author say there’s going to be 6 books in the series that’s made up of 3 duologies that each feature a different couple.
Yess lmao that’s why the list grows at an unmanageable pace but also I don’t mind đ
It certainly seems that way. Ooh that’s interesting to know although it’s a shame that the second wasn’t quite as good then. Fingers crossed that the third, introducing a new couple I’m guessing from what you’ve said, will prove better.
I’d love my physical tbr to be more under control but too many books is better than too few đ
The second one just wasn’t as good because I was pissed off at one of the characters đ but aside from that it was still a really fun read lol.
haha yeah not enough books would be a problem so I can’t complain when it’s the opposite lol :p
Ah right. It can be so frustrating when that happens. I’m glad it was good other than that though.
Too true đ
Yeah not bad by any means đ haha

I’m curious about that one too hehe & Thank you Tammy đ!!
Dinosaurs at the dinner Party is one I look forward to seeing your review of đ
Thank you, I’ll really have to make sure to at least read some nonfic this year, not doing well on that at all but the dinosaurs one could change everything, who knows đ!
