Top 10 Book Series I Want to Catch Up On

Hey bookworm friends. This week’s TTTopic was really difficult because I have way more than 10 series I’ve started and want to continue. I looked at my series tracker spreadsheet to narrow it down and picked amongst the oldest ones on there. I was hoping to pick 50/50 novels and graphic novels but I only had 4 graphic novel series so I just picked them all. Here are my top 10 book series I want to catch up on!

Oh, is it because you tend to read standalones or because when you want to read a series you catch up to it really well? And yes, I like that cover a lot too :)!

  1. Ooooh I was really wanting to get into both Hobb’s and Broadbent’s series! I LOVE their book covers.

    • Veronica

Ahh well I hope you love both of those series if you do try them :D!! I definitely need to get moving on them both lol.

  2. Ooh, Mouse Guard looks kinda like a series I read when I was a kid, the Redwall books by Brian Jacques! Such nostalgia there.

Looks like a good list! Hope you enjoy them once you get to them.

Yess it is very similar to Redwall in some ways, I haven’t read those books yet but I did watch the tv show as a kid. The art in Mouse Guard is excellent and I’d say the tone of the story surprised me a bit in that it was quite heavier than I was expecting, in terms of the themes. Thanks, Nicky 🥰.

  3. Also read book 1 of Descender. I’m a bit on the fence about continuing, and will keep an eye out for your thoughts!

Ahh cool! Okay, I will need to use that as some motivation to continue it. I always meant to but got distracted and I want to read it in its physical format not the one on Hoopla that I found 😬.

It’s times like these that you make lists of lists. Ten that you have only read one book on, ten that you are really curious about the next book for, etc.

Btw, for Dragon Jousters, there is a natural ending at the end of book 3. That’s where I stopped because I couldn’t get hold of book 4. I think I can now get it from Amazon if I want but I’ve already considered it completed for a few years now

  5. Ah this reminds me to hop back to Monstress soon. And I’d like to read Invisible Library.

  6. I don’t read a lot of fantasy, although I have enjoyed many that I’ve read. If you had to recommend one of these series, which one would it be?

  7. I am way behind on Lore Olympus myself. I really like the look of Descender. I haven’t heard of that one before. Hope you get an opportunity to get to these soon!

  8. Invisible Library is a series I keep meaning to start. It bodes well that you’ve read a bunch at this point.
