I recently discovered that Auri came out with a new album last year (a bit late to the party, am I right?). I’ve been listening to it so I want to share a couple of my favs from the album, not that it’s an easy choice since they’re all so good!

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?
Just Finished
I finally started my reread of the Wynd series. So far just finished Book One and loved it as much as the first time!🥰
Currently Reading
I’m slowly working on my buddy read for Direct Descendant. It’s set in a fictional town in Ontario and it’s been fun to see so many references to local things I recognize! The start is confusing because it throws you into the middle of a strange situation you know nothing about but once I started putting the pieces together, I’m intrigued.
Detective Beans: Adventures in Cat Town is my current ‘reading before bed’ book and it’s genuinely so funny and adorable. It’s made up of silly short stories with a sense of humour that I feel translates well for adults too.
Up Next
Next up, it’s my husband’s pick for IRL friend book club. He chose Lucky Day which is perfect because we own it but I also saw that Mara Wilson does the narration for the audiobook so I’ll be doing an immersive read for this one!

I’m getting within striking distance of my Hail to the Chief project — I have under 10 dead presidents to read, although a couple of them will be daunting.
