Hey bookworm friends. I hope you’ve all had a nice day; I’m happy to see summer in the northern hemisphere again! I just came back from a long afternoon walk in the sunshine and thus it’s the perfect time to think about my summer TBR! I looked at my upcoming book club reads, buddy reads, and library holds to see what’s coming up the bookish pipeline for me. Here are my top 10 books I want to read this summer!

Books I Want to Read This Summer
1. To Be Taught, If Fortunate by Becky Chambers – I submitted it for my friend book club and there’s a high chance it’ll get picked for either July or August 🤞🏼.
2. Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare – My buddy read of the Shadowhunters continues and we’re about to start The Last Hours.
3. Dreadful by Caitlin Rozakis – Planned buddy read for July.
4. Hell’s Heart by Alexis Hall – I’ve been waiting for months for this hold and it’ll likely be ready for August.
5. The Unicorn Hunters by Katherine Arden – This hold will also probs be ready soon-ish.
6. The Iliad by Homer (Emily Wilson’s Translation) – I bought this one a few months ago so I’m putting it on the summer tbr and hopefully that’ll be the kick I need.
7. Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle – Hoping to fit it in for Summer of Horror
8. A Ghastly Catastrophe by Deanna Raybourn – It’s almost my turn for the newest Veronica Speedwell audiobook!
9. The Untitled Books by C. J. Archer – I’ve been listening to The Glass Library and enjoying it, book 3 is up next.
10. Think of England by KJ Charles – I have the e-book and it’s short so I’m planning on reading it on vacation.
